Selected for her similar looks to Eulalia, and for her gullibility, she is an entitled young lady, in all senses of the phrase. She is one who believes very much in the social order but spoiled her reputation by being discovered having an affair with property at her finishing school (this school is not quite the same as the similarly named establishments on our planet). She is thus open to ‘persuasion’ to seduce Michael Browning.

But like everything about her life, her commitment was really to her own pleasures – that is, until Eulalia taught her a life-lesson.
